Paris-Vatry Airport and FTL Express sign commercial cooperation
Having as common objective the development of logistics solutions between China and Europe by air, and wishing to combine their know-how and expertise, Paris-Vatry Airport and FTL Express now offer an innovative solution to meet the needs of e-commerce logistics.
FTL Express is a registered customs representative and international freight forwarder based in Paris and specialized in international e-commerce logistics. Since 2017, FTL Express has a subsidiary in Hangzhou, China where 400m² of offices are installed for its Chinese business development and monitoring. As part of the development of its logistics activities of e-commerce goods with China in particular, FTL Express wishes to make the Paris Airport-Vatry a strategic airport platform in France to serve the French and European market.
Paris-Vatry airport enjoys a strategic location in Western Europe, near Paris, and in the heart of the main European markets, the airport has a modern infrastructure, dedicated to Cargo. Open 24h/24, without curfew, no taxes on noise pollution, it can accommodate any type of aircraft including those of category E/F.
The partnership between the two parties is in line with the desire on the one hand for FTL Express to develop its activities in Europe, and on the other hand for Paris-Vatry airport to make China one of its target markets.
This cooperation defines the establishment of a commercial approach and common marketing actions in Europe and China, of results objectives established over the next 3 years.
This cooperation was formalized on 14 January 2020 at Paris-Vatry airport by Mr. Parois (Director of Paris-Vatry Airport) and Mr. Pan (Director of FTL Express); in the presence of international partners associated with the project (airline, freight forwarders, import/export customers, customs services).
